How it Works
Once you select the BrainPro program for your child, you’ll be asked to choose a BrainPro Consultant who will help your child get the most from the program by:
- Assigining your child to the correct product
- Monitoring progress remotely and advancing him when he’s ready
- Working with you to answer questions and suggest ways to improve
Our Consultants
Your BrainPro Consultant will monitor your child’s progress and communicate with you remotely, via email and/or phone calls – providing you with detailed information on how to help your child with exercises she finds more challenging. You can select a BrainPro Consultant based on criteria that’s important to you: educational background, professional specialty, years of experience, or even time zone.
Ann Gordon (Eastern Time Zone)
- Professional specialty: Auditory processing, reading, language learning disabilities, attention deficit, autism, apraxia and hearing impairment
- Education: B.A. Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and M.A. Queens College of the City University of New York in Speech-Language Pathology
- Accreditations: American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence
- State licensure: Speech-Language Pathology, NY
- Experienced with Fast ForWord products since 1997
Ann Gordon is a Speech-Language Pathologist in private practice for over 30 years. She has been a Fast ForWord provider since her involvement in the original research trials in 1996. She has been recognized by Scientific Learning as a skilled provider. Ann has expertise in working with young children, adolescents and adults with a range of reading, language and learning difficulties. She is passionate about helping individuals reach their learning potential.
Christina Ballesteros (Pacific/Mountain Time Zone)

Christina Ballesteros is a devoted teaching professional with a gift to instill a love for learning, and a commitment to optimizing student, parent and school success. Her extensive background includes: classroom management, curriculum development, teacher evaluation, teacher mentoring, cooperative learning design, multi-age grouping, reading intervention, parent outreach, differentiated instruction, assessment analysis and development. Her bilingualism and educational background are a definite asset in assisting our BrainPro families.
Sara L. Gaetz (Pacific/Mountain Time Zone)
- Education: B.S. Communications, Purdue University
- Experienced with Fast ForWord products since 2003
Sara Gaetz has 12 years of experience with the Fast ForWord programs. She has spent most of that time working with struggling readers helping them improve their language and reading skills using the Fast ForWord products. She has worked with more than 850 students from all skill levels, including limited English speakers, struggling students as well as gifted students.

Joan Klein is a Professional Educational Therapist in private practice. Prior to being in Private Practice, she was a Special Education Teacher for Ten years. Assessments, IEP meetings and Student Success Team meetings were part of her days. Joan has worked with families with many kinds of learning differences which include Auditory Processing Disorder, Attention, Reading, Comprehension, Vocabulary, Memory issues, and students who require specialized support for Autism and Asperger Syndrome. The changes observed after completing the Fast ForWord program have been a wonderful reward for the work done with all of the students.
